Engineering mock exam 2026
A full Engineering external exam written by Tangent Tuition. Section 1 has 10 multiple choice questions, Section 2 has 6 written response questions and Section 3 has 6 calculation questions, for 79 marks.
Multiple choice pages let you pick an option, then step through hints. Written and calculation pages have an animation and an interactive first, then the marking guide one mark at a time. Every page links to the past QCAA questions it was modelled on, so you can compare the two.
Sit it on paper

For the real thing, print both books and sit the whole paper in one go: 5 minutes of perusal, then 120 minutes of working time, with a scientific calculator, a ruler, a protractor and the formula book. Then come back here and check each question one mark at a time.
Each mock question was modelled on past QCAA Engineering questions. The bottom of every question page links to them. Questions on content that is new for 2026 say so, and link to past questions with a similar structure instead.
